Peer Counselor: 4 hours weekly
Administer pregnancy tests, counsel, educate, support, and share Christ with clients as they visit the office. Counselors work to develop an on-going relationship with clients by following up with continuous support. This position is a calling from God.
Receptionists/Administrative: 2 – 4 hours weekly
Hospitality is a must for this position as they greet and care for clients. Phone work and miscellaneous clerical duties, keep them busy during their weekly shifts. General office work includes help with making copies, filing, collation, data entry, etc.
Data Entry: 4 hours weekly
Enter, manage & maintain updates of various data
Clothing Room Workers/Sorters: 2 – 4 hours weekly OR as available
Help with practical needs as you serve the client personally or sort through our donations. Donors continually give us good used clothing that we then give to the clients. Volunteers organize & prepare items for use by clients.
Shop Keepers: 2 – 4 hours weekly / bi weekly OR 1 Saturday per month
Work as a cashier accepting tokens from clients as they shop at our on site baby shop. Keep shelves stocked during slower times.
Fundraising Events: 1 event per year OR as available
Help staff committees and events that raise financial support. All year long there are events that require committee work as well as hands-on participation. This can be a once a year only commitment.
Prayer Intercessors: minimum 1 hour weekly
This is one of the most important opportunities available at AAA PRC. We believe in the power of prayer and depend on it completely. Weekly prayer groups meet at the Center or you can do this from your own home or at work by letting us contact you through e-mail for the most urgent needs
Church Ambassadors: varies as needed
Help keep your church informed about upcoming events and needs for AAA Pregnancy Resource Center. You will be a liaison to your church, raising awareness of AAA PRC as well as developing friend-raising ideas.
Community Ambassadors: minimum 2 hours weekly
Help keep community businesses, schools, & other organizations aware of how we serve our community. Raise awareness of events & services we offer.
Baby Bottle Campaign Manager: 2 – 4 hours weekly
Organize, document and communicate with multiple church personnel the number of baby bottles individual churches have at their church & how many need to be returned. Ensure that thank you’s are mailed immediately upon return of the bottles for their campaign. Candidate needs to be comfortable in using Micosoft Excel to track the information.
Cargo Carriers: As Needed
Simply use your vehicle & a little physical effort to transport various baby goods
(usually bags of clothing, toys, baby swings, ect.) Items are picked up from local garage sales and mom to mom sales.
Facilities Maintenance: as needed
Yard & Building Maintenance - Join in and help keep the outside of AAA PRC looking great and inviting.
Handyman: As needed
General building needs such as changing light bulbs, door adjustments, leaky faucets, ect.
Ultrasound: 2 – 4 hours weekly
Impact the lives of the unborn by providing their parents with a picture of their baby. Medical personnel are needed to offer this exciting technology to our abortion-minded clients.
